Rock Step: Friday Night Swing

Join us for our monthly social swing event on the 1st Friday of every month at the beautiful Murrayville Community Memorial Hall in Langley, BC. An amazing night of dancing, socializing, meeting new people and having fun! A FREE beginner lesson is offered to kick things off and will include a different combination of moves each time. No partner or dance experience needed! So come have a great night of fun with us.
After the dancing, we’ll head over to Denny’s in Willowbrook to continue the fun and socialize.

Beginner Lesson (7:30 to 8:30PM) is included in the price of your admission!
Structure
- 7:00pm: Doors Open
- 7:30pm-8:15pm: Beginner Swing Lesson
- 8:30pm-10:30pm: Social Dancing the night away
Late night food and socializing at Willowbrook Dennys after the dance.
ParkingThere is plenty of parking around the venue but if the parking does get filled, there is a free public parking lot near the roundabout between 216th Street and Old Yale Road at Sharon United Church.!

We’re excited to invite you to a special evening dedicated to raising awareness and support for our Swing Dance for Mental Health programs.
Join us during Mental Health Week for a powerful and uplifting night where community, music, and movement come together to celebrate mental well-being and remind us all, you are not alone.
What to expect:

- Beginner Swing Dance Lesson (no experience needed!)
- Meaningful storytelling moments
- Silent Auction & Raffle
- Connection, joy, and community

All proceeds go toward our Swing Dance for Mental Health programs, including Swing for Depression and Swing for Anxiety.
